Washington County, Virginia 1810 Census
One of the southwestern counties from which a number of adjacent counties (and one independent city) were created (Russell, Scott, Smyth, Bristol City). Washington County possessed a very young population which became the ancestors of many settlers moving westward at this time into the Kentucky-Tennessee-Ohio Valley area.
